Q.U.B.E. is an interesting puzzle game for Windows. You can buy and download the game via Steam, which is very popular these days. Q.U.B.E stands for Quick Understanding of Block Extrusion, which doesn't really make any sense until you play the game. It is set in a "mysterious and abstract sterile environment", where you have to complete levels by figuring out various physics-based puzzles. The game takes the first-person perspective, and at first sight, it looks very similar to Portal.
The first level is very basic, and it serves as a first tutorial for the game. You are just thrown in a big space and have to figure out how to advance. As the game progresses, it gets more challenging, and there will be lots of logic, physics and platforming puzzles.
Graphically, the game is incredibly well made, especially for an indie game. The controls are OK and the puzzles are entertaining.
If you have played games like Mirror's Edge and Portal, you will probably like this game. It has elements from both those games.
In short, Q.U.B.E is an interesting first-person puzzle game that is very original and fun to play.
